ABOUT ME

I am a senior technical artist currently residing in Irvine, California. I have over 6 years of experience at AAA game studios including Ubisoft and Blizzard, and am looking for my next challenge!

My area of expertise is in shaders, materials, tools, and look development. I work closely with artists, art directors and programmers alike to push visual goals and graphical quality.

At Carnegie Mellon University, I was initially a Computer Science major but later transferred into the interdisciplinary degree of Computer Science and Art. Therefore, I am most comfortable in the space between programmers and artists.

I am always looking to learn new things! I recently finally dabbled a bit in Houdini and, in the fall of 2023, I even completed a Gnomon course for Introduction to Virtual Production in Unreal.

I personally love to play games that are social, have distinct art styles, or have powerful narratives (eg. Overwatch, Stardew Valley, Borderlands, The Last of Us). I grew up playing my Gameboy Advance SP and logging many hours into Neopets. When I’m not at my computer or cuddling my pet cat, you can find me playing beach volleyball or doing strength training!
